I’m a self-taught artist who started drawing and painting as a child. I have exhibited in both commercial galleries and museums for more than 40 years, and today my paintings can be found in private and public collections worldwide. My work consist of figurative compositions, landscapes, and commissioned portraits for individuals, institutions, corporations and feature films.
In my teens, I became enthralled and enormously influenced by the art of the nineteenth-century artist, Jean-Léon Gérôme. I have spent decades researching his life and work, never losing my sense of wonder at his ability to imbue his subjects with reverence, intense realism and poetry.
Feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss commissioning a portrait, or if you would like a work inspired by one of the paintings on my website.
